{"id":53163,"date":"2020-03-18T14:57:43","date_gmt":"2020-03-18T12:57:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=53163"},"modified":"2020-03-18T14:57:43","modified_gmt":"2020-03-18T12:57:43","slug":"nelson-mandela-foundation-nmflatest-employment-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/nelson-mandela-foundation-nmflatest-employment-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Nelson Mandela Foundation (NMF)Latest Employment Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The NMF contributes to the making of a just society by mobilising the legacy of Nelson Mandela, providing public access to information on his life and times, and convening dialogue on critical social issues.<\/p>\n<p>The Nelson Mandela Foundation was established in 1999 when its Founder, Mr Nelson Mandela, stepped down as the President of South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Mandela Day Project Coordinator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong> Johannesburg<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive implementation of the Mandela Day strategy through operationalising the objectives<\/li>\n<li>In consultation with the Programme director and project team, assist and lead in conceptualising and implementation of the various project within NMF relating to Mandela Day<\/li>\n<li>Provide research and analysis support towards the programme\u2019s objective pillars<\/li>\n<li>Produce through leadership pieces in relation to the strategic pillars of the programme<\/li>\n<li>Build a stakeholder community base for regular engagement.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in data collection, mapping and other processes to build a enriched Mandela Day knowledge base.<\/li>\n<li>Initiate and influence Mandela Day Initiative of partners and other Stakeholders to align with the NMF Strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of small scale pilot projects to demonstrate best practice for informal Mandela Day Strategic Pillars.<\/li>\n<li>Implement a resourcing plan for NMD Projects<\/li>\n<li>Provide monitoring and evaluation support for the various initiatives and the project as a whole<\/li>\n<li>Assist in documentation and write up for case study relating to projects<\/li>\n<li>Represent NMF &#8211; Mandela Day in various public and civil society meetings<\/li>\n<li>Financial and budget management as per delegation<\/li>\n<li>Procurement, administration and logistics for the project<\/li>\n<li>Three year degree or diploma<\/li>\n<li>A proven track record in the areas of project management, analysis , research, monitoring and evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three to five years\u2019 working experience<\/li>\n<li>Proven knowledge and awareness of issues relating to poverty and inequality<\/li>\n<li>Conversant with key stakeholders, concepts and how they relate to the responsibilities of the job<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in negotiation and conflict resolution<\/li>\n<li>Time management, planning and organising skills<\/li>\n<li>Previous work experience in the urban development sector will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential<\/li>\n<li>Verbal and written communication, research and analytical skills are required<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English is a prerequisite and knowledge of two other South African language is an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u200bInterested Candidates should email a concise cv to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:HR@nelsonmandela.org\">HR@nelsonmandela.org<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: Friday, 20 March, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The NMF contributes to the making of a just society by mobilising the legacy of Nelson Mandela, providing public access to information on his life and times, and convening dialogue&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1353,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[80],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
