The Operations\/Programme Manager will manage the quality programme delivery and will be directly responsible for quality assurance of programme activities.<\/p>\n<p>This position will also support the development of relationships with key stakeholders. The Programme Manager will lead the development of project workplans and donor reports, develop project budgets and forecasting.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Business Development Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Cape Town<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Efficient and effective programme management at the country and international level<\/li>\n<li>Achievement of programme targets and goals;<\/li>\n<li>Development and enforcement of realistic operational and programme\/project implementation plans, in line with HPCA strategic priorities;<\/li>\n<li>Development and management of cost-effective budgets;<\/li>\n<li>Development and management of M&amp;E for projects<\/li>\n<li>Develop evaluation methods to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement;<\/li>\n<li>Support development of concept notes and proposals for funding;<\/li>\n<li>Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved;<\/li>\n<li>Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle;<\/li>\n<li>Identify project successes, challenges, lessons learnt and recommendations for scale up;<\/li>\n<li>Analyse programmatic risks;<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to overall HPCA strategy and support proposal writing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE &amp; KEY COMPETENCIES: &#8211;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Social Sciences or related field with up to 5 years\u2019 experience and a demonstrated track record in management of public health programmes;<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of\u00a0relevant government policy and the public health landscape in SA;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent project management skills and demonstrated experience in designing, conceptualisation, implementing and managing medium to large projects including workplan, reporting and budget development;<\/li>\n<li>Experience co-ordinating and\/or leading public health programmes in resource limited settings;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience in Demonstrated ability to design and lead the execution of efficient support systems including creating programme, operational, tracking and evaluation support tools including monitoring and evaluation (M&amp;E) tools and systems;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability in developing and maintaining strategic relationships at multiple levels including government, donors and implementing partners;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent writing, editing, and grammar skills in English and ability to communicate effectively and concisely to internal and external audiences;<\/li>\n<li>Strong Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office Suite);<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work cross-functionally under an NGO structure;<\/li>\n<li>The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a demanding, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment;<\/li>\n<li>Flexible, with ability to work independently and as part of a team;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Palliative Care an added advantage and<\/li>\n<li>Unendorsed driver\u2019s license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please submit a detailed CV, covering letter and names of three contactable references including email contact to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:hr@hpca.co.za\">hr@hpca.co.za<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>\u00a0Tuesday 17 March 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa (HPCA) our mission is to promote quality in life, dignity in death, and support in bereavement to all living with a life-threatening illness&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1353,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[65,182],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
