Dedicated to helping individuals with physical disabilities, the Fund provides and helps maintain mobility devices for South Africans around the country who live in under-resourced communities and cannot afford them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rachel Swart Fund: Administrator\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Remuneration:<\/strong>\u00a0A market related package is offered.<br \/>\n<strong>Start Date:<\/strong> 1 April<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong> The Chairperson<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree or diploma is desirable particularly in social work.<\/li>\n<li>At least five years commercial experience preferably in an NGO environment.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work alone and run the office is essential.<\/li>\n<li>Supervision of staff experience is necessary.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to use Salesforce is recommended.<\/li>\n<li>Own transport<\/li>\n<li>Regular travel is required, including to remote rural areas.<\/li>\n<li>Other Criteria:<\/li>\n<li>Strong networking links<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of funding strategies and trends<\/li>\n<li>Understands the disability sector and State health institutions<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of management systems and methodologies<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of labour legislation and corporate governance<\/li>\n<li>Strong writing and administration skills<\/li>\n<li>Good leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in M&amp;E<\/li>\n<li>Grasp of basic finance and human resource skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a multi-lingual environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong civil society and NGO ethos<\/li>\n<li>Strong sense of humanitarian values<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with social media<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Send your CV to: Mark MacGinty<strong> (<a href=\"mailto:macginma@inds-ct.co.za\">macginma@inds-ct.co.za<\/a>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Friday, 3 April, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Rachel Swart Fund is a non-profit organisation based in Cape Town, South Africa.
