NRC cares, not only for its patients but also for society and earth.<\/p>\n<p>National Renal Care situated in Port Elizabeth seeks to recruit an ambitious, talented, goal driven and self-motivated individual to fulfill the role of a Registered Nurse\/Clinical Technologist (Independent Practice).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Registered Nurse\/Clinical Technologist<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> # NRC UITENHAGE<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Salary Market:<\/strong> Related<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Uitenhage, Eastern Cape, South Africa<\/p>\n<p><strong>ROLE SUMMARY<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Registered Nurse\/Clinical Technologist (Independent Practice) will render and promote cost effective, safe, quality patient care in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.<br \/>\nThe incumbent will further be responsible for direct and\/or indirect nursing care of a patient or a group of patients, for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs, be a role model in the delivery of evidence based care and will actively participate in Clinical Governance.<br \/>\nJob Functions Clinical,Nursing<br \/>\nIndustries Healthcare<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant qualification within a specialist area or equivalent NQF 7.<\/li>\n<li>Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse\/ Midwife or Registration with HPCSA as a Clinical Technologist (Independent Practice)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Renal Nursing will be a strong recommendation<\/li>\n<li>Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment<br \/>\nstrong interpersonal skills required.Excellence orientation (concern for high quality of work)<\/li>\n<li>Strong customer orientation<\/li>\n<li>Team Player<\/li>\n<li>Ethical behaviour (Honesty)<\/li>\n<li>Leadership ability<\/li>\n<li>Well organised<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To perform dialysis according to prescription in a safe manner and in accordance to NRC\u2019s internal policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>To provide optimal patient care as per the nursing scope of practice and NRC\u2019s clinical care pathways.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and maintain all medical equipment in accordance with NRC\u2019s technical policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all NRC quality initiative programs are utilised for the patients under your management.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all patient clinical records are maintained and updated in accordance with the deadlines, policies &amp; procedures and the NRC standards.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all financial policies and procedures are followed in the unit i.e. confirmation, billing, private patients, stock, waste etc.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for leading the shift and for the supervision of all subcategories on the floor on a daily basis.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate the National Renal Care Values and Caring the NRC Way.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jb.skillsmapafrica.com\/Account\/Login?ReturnUrl=%2FCandidate%2FFullRegistration%3FJobKey%3Df7b9176c353a46adbfd23ce3c17b780b%26isApplication%3D1&amp;ReturnUrlWithProfile=%2FJob%2FIndex%2F39392%3FAutoApply%3DTrue\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>\u00a002\/04\/2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>National Renal Care has grown and evolved into the leading total kidney and disease management organisation in South Africa.
