{"id":53471,"date":"2020-03-30T10:32:13","date_gmt":"2020-03-30T08:32:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=53471"},"modified":"2020-03-30T10:32:13","modified_gmt":"2020-03-30T08:32:13","slug":"aquity-innovations-npc-recent-job-opportunity-apply-now-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/aquity-innovations-npc-recent-job-opportunity-apply-now-5.html","title":{"rendered":"AQUITY Innovations NPC Recent Job Opportunity &#8211; Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>AQUITY Innovations NPC, a Section 21 South African-based registered not-for-profit organization, was established in 2010.\u00a0 Our mission is to promote access to quality health and social services through innovations and technology.<\/p>\n<p>AQUITY\u2019s programmatic focus areas include HIV, TB, health systems strengthening, capacity development Orphans and Vulnerable Children as well as other interventions targeting key populations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: IT Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Pretoria<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0 Commensurate with required experience and qualifications<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong>\u00a0 Aquity Director<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The IT Manager is responsible for maintenance of the network; telecommunications administration; and maintenance; hardware and software procurement and installation; data base programming; and technical assistance and training in software.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific duties include (but not limited to) the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establishes network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.<\/li>\n<li>Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs; providing references and support.<\/li>\n<li>Upgrades network by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.<\/li>\n<li>Protects organization&#8217;s value by keeping information confidential.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to provide maximum performance for users.<\/li>\n<li>Manage company website and social medical platforms. Process any requested updates and changes.<\/li>\n<li>Establishing the networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting and enforcing system standards.<\/li>\n<li>Design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment.<\/li>\n<li>Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades on network optimization.<\/li>\n<li>undertaking data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources.<\/li>\n<li>Support and administration of firewall environments in line with IT security policy<\/li>\n<li>Upgrading data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases;<\/li>\n<li>Configuration of routing and switching equipment;<\/li>\n<li>Configuration of hosted IP voice services; Active Directory, Exchange Server, Sage Payroll, QuickBooks system.<\/li>\n<li>Remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation<\/li>\n<li>Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems<\/li>\n<li>Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Preserve assets, information security and control structures<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Facilitate procurements and standards for ICT equipment\u2019s for the organizations and ensures cost effectiveness<\/li>\n<li>Manage relationships and contract with service providers<\/li>\n<li>Manage server system systems and\u00a0ICT infrastructure around telecommunications<\/li>\n<li>Ensure disaster recovery plans are in place in for business continuity eg.
