{"id":53959,"date":"2020-04-20T15:09:58","date_gmt":"2020-04-20T13:09:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=53959"},"modified":"2020-04-20T15:09:58","modified_gmt":"2020-04-20T13:09:58","slug":"earthchild-project-ecp-recent-employment-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/earthchild-project-ecp-recent-employment-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Earthchild Project (ECP) Recent Employment Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Started in 2007, Earthchild Project (ECP) operates in under-resourced schools in Cape Town.\u00a0Working with children and teachers, their\u00a0holistic education programmes focus on life-skills, wellness and the environment.\u00a0 ECP aims to inspire a new generation of confident, conscious and responsible young leaders.<\/p>\n<p>ECP works across 8 schools in Khayelitsha and Lavender Hill, reaching over 3500 children and 80 teachers every week.\u00a0They run a variety of Programmes from yoga classes, eco clubs, leadership training, holiday programmes, teacher training workshops and more.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Operations Manager\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Cape Town<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this position is to find someone who can \u2018hold\u2019 the big picture but also ensure the smooth implementation of day-to-day operations and a high quality of programme delivery.\u00a0Someone who can manage, lead and support their\u00a0operational team, ensuring they are\u00a0on track with their\u00a0strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Strategy:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the development of ECP\u2019s strategy, together with the team, Director and the Board.<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with the team to develop sound operational plans, aligned to ECP\u2019s strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Review and evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and systematically, and report these results to the Board.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Systems:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Creating simple systems to ensure the smooth implementation of all programmes.\u00a0This will include developing and implementing administrative systems.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring our Monitoring &amp; Evaluation systems are being implemented and reporting to the Board on outcomes and recommendations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>People:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing, leading and supporting their\u00a0operational team.
