National Renal Care situated in Tokai seeks to recruit an ambitious, talented, goal driven and self-motivated individual to fulfill the role of a Registered Nurse.<\/p>\n<p>The Registered Nurse will render and promote cost effective, safe, quality patient care in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures and Policies. The incumbent will further be responsible for direct and\/or indirect nursing care of a patient or a group of patients, for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs, be a role model in the delivery of evidence based care and will actively participate in Clinical Governance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Registered Nurse<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Tokai, Western Cape, South Africa<br \/>\n<strong>Reference: <\/strong># MRCTOKAI<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To perform dialysis according to prescription in a safe manner and in accordance to NRC\u2019s internal policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>To provide optimal patient care as per the nursing scope of practice and NRC\u2019s clinical care pathways.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and maintain all medical equipment in accordance with NRC\u2019s technical policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all NRC quality initiative programs are utilised for the patients under your management.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all patient clinical records are maintained and updated in accordance with the deadlines, policies &amp; procedures and the NRC standards.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all financial policies and procedures are followed in the unit i.e. confirmation, billing, private patients, stock, waste etc.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for leading the shift and for the supervision of all subcategories on the floor on a daily basis.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate the National Renal Care Values and Caring the NRC Way.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant qualification within a specialist area or equivalent NQF 7.<\/li>\n<li>Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse\/ Midwife.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Renal Nursing will be a strong recommendation<br \/>\nCapacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment<br \/>\nStrong interpersonal skills required.<\/li>\n<li>Excellence orientation (concern for high quality of work)<\/li>\n<li>Strong customer orientation<\/li>\n<li>Team Player<\/li>\n<li>Ethical behaviour (Honesty)<\/li>\n<li>Leadership ability<\/li>\n<li>Well organised<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jb.skillsmapafrica.com\/Account\/Login?ReturnUrl=%2FCandidate%2FFullRegistration%3FJobKey%3Dcdb20a6cb6034d6c8e6e4df7b7ebc63f%26isApplication%3D1&amp;ReturnUrlWithProfile=%2FJob%2FIndex%2F39606%3FAutoApply%3DTrue\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a027\/04\/2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>National Renal Care has grown and evolved into the leading total kidney and disease management organisation in South Africa.
