The ICRC Regional Delegation in Pretoria is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the following vacancy:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Administrative Assistant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>South Africa<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description of the role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The incumbent performs the following activities within the department<\/p>\n<p><strong>Event Organization:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the management of all events held by the delegation.<\/li>\n<li>Identify the departments requirements and expectations for the event.<\/li>\n<li>Visa Invitation letters for event participants<\/li>\n<li>Send welcome letter with information to participants<\/li>\n<li>Rent additional equipment for events when required<\/li>\n<li>Arrange transport (Busses &amp; Shuttles) for events when required<\/li>\n<li>Organize catering for events when required<\/li>\n<li>Receives feedback from events held<\/li>\n<li>All other related tasks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Forensic Department:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develops relationships with forensic equipment suppliers, orders equipment and supplies to maintain Pretoria delegation\u2019s stock, while also liaising and coordinates with Forensic staff in other African delegations and managing orders with Logistics.<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to networking and maintains contact spreadsheets and sponsorship databases for the African Forensic Team, including LinkedIn recruitment.<\/li>\n<li>Supports forensics with annual budget drafting and monitors expenses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Profile \u2013 Minimum required qualification &amp; experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>National Diploma\\Equivalent qualification in Administration management.<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years\u2019 experience in administrative role.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent command in English<\/li>\n<li>Computer proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are looking for someone who is methodical, precise, responsible, rigorous, organized with good organizational skills, with a good sense of teamwork, initiative and respect for ICRC values.<\/p>\n<p>We offer interesting, rewarding work in humanitarian and international environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please submit your application: CV, cover letter, copies of diplomas \/ certificates by electronic mail with the mention in the subject \u201capplication<strong>\u00a0to the<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Role<\/strong>\u201d to<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:PRE_HR_Services@icrc.org\">PRE_HR_Services@icrc.org<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Sunday, 3 May, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Geneva-based International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is a humanitarian organization that provides protection and assistance to people affected by armed conflict and other situations of violence.
