Applications are invited from suitable candidates to the above position.<\/p>\n SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES <\/strong> Key Areas of Responsibility & Duties<\/p>\n \u2022\tAirports Operations Management \u2022\tBudget \/ Expenditure management \u2022\tManage Service Delivery \u2022\tManage and lead the station employees \u2022\tSafe work environment. \nThe overall purpose of the job is to improve efficiencies of the daily management of station\u2019s operations. The Airports Manager position has been created to remove pressure from the Country Manager. This position will have a dual reporting to the Country Manager and EM Airport Operations and OCC.<\/p>\n
\no\tEnsure that station infrastructure and services are maintained optimally and effectively.
\no\tEnsure the effective maintenance of all vehicles, plant and equipment.
\no\tEnsure that the Airports administrative duties are performed
\no\tPro-active management of On Time Performance (OTP)
\no\tFacilitate, coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders to ensure on-time departures and provide efficient delivery of service to customers
\no\tWork closely and proactively with various internal and external stakeholders
\no\tManagement of 3rd party contracts<\/p>\n
\no\tPrepare budgets for the effective functioning of the station.
\no\tEstablish cost control measures and identification of opportunities to reduce expenses.
\no\tCompliance to the PFMA standards<\/p>\n
\no\tMonitor and maintain acceptable customer service delivery standards
\no\tEnsure that Service Level agreements are defined, agreed and adhered to
\no\tTargets are agreed with Service Providers \/ Handling Companies
\no\tService Improvement opportunities are identified and implemented<\/p>\n
\no\tEnsure effective numbers of staff are selected and retained to accommodate operational requirements.
\no\tEnsure employee performance on an on-going bases
\no\tEnsure discipline is maintained at all times \u2013 implement all HR policies and procedures.
\no\tIdentify training needs and on the job training requirements and ensure that employee training and development is done.
\no\tHold regular staff meeting
\no\tEnsure effective communications at all times<\/p>\n
\no\tMaintain safe working conditions at the station
\no\tMonitor Airports Operation\u2019s compliance with safety standards and procedures
\no\tImplement safety improvement procedures.
\no\tEnsure compliance to CAA<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\tGrade 12, aviation indoctrination & flight operations management
\n\u2022\tBCom Aviation Management will be an added advantage
\n\u2022\t3-5 years in airports operations environment
\n\u2022\t3-5 years experience in people management
\n\u2022\tKnowledge of Civil Aviation safety policies and procedures
\n\u2022\tStatutory requirements, rules and regulations
\n\u2022\tCustomer Centric
\n\u2022\tAbility to lead
\n\u2022\tPeople management skills
\n\u2022\tStrong interpersonal skills
\n\u2022\tIntermediate to advanced computer literacy
