\nThe Clinical Nurse Mentor will be part of a Team of support to provide a formal process of professional support to Nursing Staff within General Practice, while encouraging self-assessment, analytical and reflective skills, in accordance to the Clinical Mentor\/Assessor Guidance.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Guide and support professional nurses implementing NIMART
\n\u2022Offer advice on clinical problems
\n\u2022Facilitate Case Discussions
\n\u2022Ensure good outcomes for quality of Care Indicators, ART, TB\/HIV Integration, PMTCT
\n\u2022Perform Clinical Audits
\n\u2022Develop Quality Improvement Plans
\n\u2022Facilitate Training where possible
\n\u2022Ensure adherence to Guidelines and Best Practice
\n\u2022Document Lessons Learnt for future improvement of Programme
\n\u2022Cooperate with Health Systems Mentor to ensure delivery of comprehensive and patient-friendly service
\n\u2022Keep up to date with developments in the field<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Degree or Diploma in Nursing
\n\u2022Registration with South African Nursing Council
\n\u2022Extensive experience in HIV\/AIDS treatment and care
\n\u2022NIMART, IMCI, QI, PMTCT and PULSA-PLUS\/PC101 trained
\nAdvantageous
\n\u2022Diploma in Clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment<\/p>\n
