One of their\u00a0key tasks is to place tertiary students into in-service training and to find alternative income generating opportunities to help these young women economically empower themselves.<\/p>\n<p>In support of this project they have developed a digital platform as part of the strategy that will seek to link members within this eco system to economic and work opportunities. DreamWorker seeks to appoint a Marketing &amp; Communications Assistant to be based in the Buffalo Municipality region, Eastern Cape.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Marketing &amp; Communications<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>East London<br \/>\n<strong>Remuneration:<\/strong> Gross salary for\u00a0the position is around R150K p\/a negotiable<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this position is to find\u00a0a young, dynamic and energetic marketing and communications assistant to join their\u00a0team to grow the marketing function as well as build the membership registration and activity functionality on the internet portal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the Project manager in developing a marketing strategy<\/li>\n<li>Develop strategies to build membership on the digital platform<\/li>\n<li>Drive and encourage member activity on the site<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate communications and marketing channels for the site<\/li>\n<li>Conduct workshops to draw members onto the site<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with our team to create membership from the TVET colleges and University spaces<\/li>\n<li>Build relationships with the business, government and private sector stakeholder groups<\/li>\n<li>Develop and execute social media mechanisms \u00a0to market content &amp; information<\/li>\n<li>Be a tenacious marketer and cyber-hustler to build the brand across the region<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Core skills\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0Appropriate formal education with strong leadership &amp; Marketing ability<\/li>\n<li>Experience:\n<ul>\n<li>3 to 5 years\u2019 experience in marketing, communications and some experience with digital platform environments<\/li>\n<li>Working within a professional organisation where targets and reporting are a key requirement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge &amp; Skills:\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient in office software such as MS Office &amp; Excel &amp; PowerPoint<\/li>\n<li>Strong administrative skill-set coupled with excellent time management<\/li>\n<li>High level of attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Ability to cope with a variety of tasks daily<\/li>\n<li>Very strong communications ability with a capability to produce reports and write key documents for management<\/li>\n<li>Own transport is required<\/li>\n<li>Strong command of English both written and verbal with at least one other South African language.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a Motivational Letter and CV, with contactable references to <strong><a href=\"mailto:info@dreamworker.org.za\">info@dreamworker.org.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Friday, 15 May, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DreamWorker\u00a0organisation is working with young women to empower themselves in the Buffalo Municipality region, Eastern Cape.
