They have a home for 23 girls.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registration with SACSSP<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of five years experience in social work<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in a CYCC or Place of Safety<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of the Children\u2019s Act and the relevant sections that apply to CYCC<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Efficient, professional, hardworking, administrative, punctual and neat<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Computer skills<\/li>\n<li>Understand challenges currently facing Child and Youth Care workers<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to initiate, develop and establish intervention, therapeutic, development and\/or child care programmes from scratch<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well within a team<\/li>\n<li>Report writing skills and be able to multi-task several activities simultaneously<\/li>\n<li>Multilingual and proficiency in written and spoken English \u2013 knowledge of Southu\/Zulu\/Afrikaans would be useful but not essential<\/li>\n<li>Time management skills and be ability to work under a strict schedule<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in court placements and child protection services<\/li>\n<li>Understand CYCC Norms and Standards and relevant sections of the Children\u2019s act, including maintaining and being accountable for statutory placements<\/li>\n<li>Knowledgeable on reunification processes<\/li>\n<li>Name not found on the Child Protection Register<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a CV, proof of registration, proof of minimum requirements and two contactable references (one of whom must be a previous\/current employer) to<strong> <a href=\"mailto:om@vulamasango.org\">lisa@winniemabaso.org<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Tuesday, 30 June, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Winnie Mabaso\u00a0Foundation was\u00a0established to support vulnerable and\u00a0orphaned children in South Africa, particularly those living with HIV. &nbsp; Job Title: Social Worker\u00a0 Location:\u00a0Mid Ennerdale, Johannesburg for a small CYCC.
