To conduct thorough data analysis, design and implement analytics programs, generate reports, and collaborate with various teams to ensure optimization of Fund resources with the end goal of minimising operational costs. This role will be responsible for providing actuarial support to the organisation.<\/p>\n

\nSalary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Specification<\/strong>
\n\u2022Ensure timeous and accurate settlement of Loss of support and Loss of earnings claims.
\n\u2022Compile and prepare data for purposes of the Funds\u2019 actuarial valuation.
\n\u2022Assist in developing, analysing and modifying processes, data structures, and financial models
\n\u2022Conduct or coordinate tests to ensure that intelligence is consistent with defined needs (as will be aligned to the business
\noperations and requirements of the business but will specifically relate to case & claims management)
\n\u2022Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools as will be aligned to the business operations and
\nrequirements of the business
\n\u2022Make data-driven decisions and recommendations designed to improve operational efficiency, business sustainability or product
\ndevelopment in support of the business strategy as will be applicable from time to time
\n\u2022Compile statistical data and other information for further analysis
\n\u2022Estimate the probability and likely economic cost of an event such as death, sickness, an accident, or a natural disaster
\n\u2022Design, test, and administer various policies, investments and other business strategies to minimize risk and maximize
\nprofitability
\n\u2022Produce charts, tables, and reports that explain calculations and proposals
\n\u2022Explain their findings and proposals to the Fund Management<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics or equivalent
\n\u2022 Understanding of the insurance business, market and external environment
\n\u2022 Demonstrated high level of analytic and problem-solving skills, good communications skills, solid computer skills and a team player<\/p>\n
