MatCH implements donor funded projects to improve HIV and TB outcomes through providing technical assistance and direct service delivery support.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Project Team Leader x1 \u2013 (Ref: 150)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>KwaZulu- Natal Province, in the Harry Gwala district<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the incumbent will be to support the Project Manager to implement a comprehensive HIV prevention and Treatment programme for priority populations and community HIV testing services in Harry Gwala District.<br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate programme activities and oversee day to day programme implementation at facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in development of best practices and enhancement of HIV Prevention program activities.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Sub-granted organizations on program implementation activities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that Priority Targets are met.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in programme monitoring, evaluation and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in program audits and other quality improvement activities.<\/li>\n<li>Provide necessary training, support, mentorship and advice to ensure provision of quality service delivery to paediatric, adolescent and adult HIV program.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement appropriate systems and procedures pertaining to HIV Prevention, HIV\/TB care and Treatment services.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support and operational solutions to MatCH supported interventions.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate site specific training on Clinical Assessment, Treatment and Care.<\/li>\n<li>Working and dealing with district and local health authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise, support and mentor team members to ensure optimal performance and maintenance of sound labour relations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma in General Nursing or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>NIMART Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Valid Driver\u2019s License<\/li>\n<li>Professional Body registration<\/li>\n<li>South African Nursing Council<\/li>\n<li>Minimum work experience:\n<ul>\n<li>2 years\u2019 experience as a Nurse Advisor<\/li>\n<li>4 years\u2019 experience in the Primary Health Care environment in the public sector<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working in HIV prevention programs.<\/li>\n<li>Postgraduate qualification in HIV Management.<\/li>\n<li>Midwifery and PHC certification<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in National Core Standards\/ Ideal Clinic Realisation and Maintenance (ICRM) project Mentorship.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and understanding of 90 90 90 strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication, resourcefulness and supervisory skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle a varied, busy and pressurized workload.<\/li>\n<li>Previous management, training and mentoring of staff and ability to handle conflict.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested parties should clearly state the reference number of the vacancy you are applying for and forward your detailed CV and copies of the required certificates and registrations to<strong>:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@match.org.za\">recruitment@match.org.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Wednesday, 24 June, 2020<\/p>\n<p><strong>NB: <\/strong>Please note that this vacancy is a Fixed Term Contract until 30 September 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maternal, Adolescent &amp; Child Health Institute (MatCH) is a non-profit organisation supporting public sector health services.
