The founding CEO is retiring and the board is seeking to appoint a new Managing Director (MD). The MD will lead and support the Kids Haven team and report directly to the\u00a0Board of Directors. Their main role will be to ensure the protection, care and education of all the children placed in the care of Kids Haven.<\/p>\n<p>They will also develop, lead and manage the development and implementation of the vision, long and\u00a0 short-term strategic direction, policy implementation, key stakeholder relationships, corporate governance and risk, and financial oversight.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Managing Director<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Johannesburg<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree and further studies in the field of child care;<\/li>\n<li>Deep passion for children<\/li>\n<li>Proven success in developing, maintaining, enhancing and managing a broad range of external stakeholder relationships;<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of ten year\u2019s proven strong strategic and operations senior management or executive working experience in the child care sector;<\/li>\n<li>Strong, analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills;<\/li>\n<li>Diplomatic, energetic, collaborative, influential and charismatic leader; and<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build a public profile and be an excellent communicator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><br \/>\nPlease send a motivational cover letter, your CV and two recent work references by\u00a030 June 2020.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 1.5em; color: #343434; line-height: 17px; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>TO:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"mailto:jmm@global.co.za\">jmm@global.co.za<\/a><br \/>\n<strong>REF:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Kids Haven MD Application<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: An application will not in itself entitle the applicant to an interview or appointment.
