The\u00a0Institute of Health Programs and Systems (IHPS)\u00a0is a South African non-profit company (NPC) born out of the PEPFAR CDC Track 1 transition of the ICAP, Columbia University, Multi-country AIDS Program (MCAP) in South Africa in 2010. The IHPS mission is \u201cto strengthen health and development systems through program implementation and partnerships\u201d and the vision is \u201coptimal and sustainable health and development outcomes\u201d.<\/p>\n

Presently, IHPS\u00a0is a Global Fund Subrecipient (SR) under Beyond Zero (BZ), tasked to implement the \u201cPrevention programs for adolescents and youths, in and out of school<\/em>\u201d with a specific focus on adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) in the Fetakgomo-Greater Tubatse Subdistricts, Sekhukhune District in Limpopo State Province from April 2019 \u2013 March 2022. As such, IHPS seeks to recruit for the position outlined below, based in the\u00a0Fetakgomo-Greater Tubatse\u00a0Subdistrict.\u00a0(Closing date:\u00a003\u00a0July 2020).<\/p>\n

Job Title: Centre Manager<\/strong>
\nLocation:<\/strong> Out of School AGYW Program<\/strong><\/p>\n

Overall Job Function<\/strong><\/p>\n

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the\u00a0Centre Manager:<\/strong>\u00a0Out-of-School AGYW Program<\/strong>\u00a0will lead the overall implementation of the Out-of-School AGYW Safe Spaces and Community Outreach activities in the Fetakgomo-Greater Tubatse Subdistrict. The incumbent will provide the overall leadership and management of all operations at the fixed and satellite safe spaces as well as at community outreach sites; and will coordinate delivery of AGYW behavioural and structural interventions in Fetakgomo-Greater Tubatse Subdistrict. The incumbent will work closely with the AGYW in-school and biomedical teams to ensure that Out-of-School AGYW in Fetakgomo-Greater Tubatse Subdistrict receive a comprehensive package of appropriate and quality AGYW services that are meets the needs of AGYW. S\/he will ensure that the fixed and satellite safe spaces are adequately organized and equipped with the resources required for the delivery of quality AGYW services; and that Out-of-School AGYW in need are reached as appropriate.<\/p>\n
