{"id":55543,"date":"2020-07-02T13:33:54","date_gmt":"2020-07-02T11:33:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=55543"},"modified":"2020-07-02T13:33:54","modified_gmt":"2020-07-02T11:33:54","slug":"the-centre-for-positive-care-cpc-latest-job-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/the-centre-for-positive-care-cpc-latest-job-vacancy.html","title":{"rendered":"The Centre for Positive Care (CPC) Latest Job Vacancy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Centre for Positive Care (CPC) is a Non-Profit Organization working in three provinces namely Limpopo, Gauteng and North West, with a vision that all \u00a0clients receive high quality treatment, care and support to improving their quality of life and productivity, and supporting the National Strategic Plan of South Africa in reducing HIV, STI and TB\u00a0 and to ensure greater participation and involvement of targeted beneficiaries in community systems strengthening and reproductive health and rights services.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: HTS and Linkage Officers<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Limpopo Province, Capricorn District<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this position is to be responsible for HIV testing of workers in the Work Place Programme, as well as linking and navigating workers through referral processes and ensuring linkage to care.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 10 completed OR senior Certificate (Grade 12) OR equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Finger Prick Certificate<\/li>\n<li>HIV\/AIDS Counselling Certificate \u2013 minimum 10-day Course, (which is not older than 2 years from the date of issue)<\/li>\n<li>HIV\/AIDS Counselling Certificate &#8211; minimum 10-day Course, older than 2 years\u2019, with a certificate for a 2-day refresher course from an accredited provider.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of South African guidelines of HIV Testing Services and related quality assurance processes<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of HIV, STIs and TB prevention approaches<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint<\/li>\n<li>Report-writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Planning skills<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Non-judgmental, trustworthy and empathetic personality<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills, including being a team player<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate strong professional attitude and behaviour at all times<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work non-traditional hours which may include weekends from time to time<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Experience:\n<ul>\n<li>1-2 years HIV counselling experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a detailed CV with a certified Qualifications\u00a0 not later 3 Months and covering letter to <strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@posicare.org.za\">recruitment@posicare.org.za<\/a><\/strong>, Note that late applications will not be considered.
