\nProvide a supportive role in Research study-related tasks, the overall goal of this position is to ensure the, ethical and efficient recruitment of volunteers to COVID research and to support data capture, entry and verification, as well as administrative and counselling tasks as needed.<\/p>\n
\n\uf0d8Responsible for recruitment of volunteers through:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Conducting outreach activities
\n\u2022Explaining and answering questions about the research,
\n\u2022Recruit and screen volunteers from target populations
\n\u2022Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback on recruitment strategies.
\n\u2022Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards during recruitment<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Administering screening questionnaires
\n\u2022Provide counseling to volunteers
\n\u2022Properly document all counseling sessions
\n\u2022Assist with the enrolment
\n\u2022Provide risk-reduction counseling<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Obtain, verify and update detailed locator data
\n\u2022Maintain locator and retention data base
\n\u2022Conduct visit reminders
\n\u2022Track participants as needed
\n\u2022Recommending retention strategies to superiors<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Ensure all applicable documentation are completed accurately
\n\u2022Administer data collection instruments
\n\u2022Complete, compile and submit study case report forms
\n\u2022Ensure all records on participants are completed and filed accurately
\n\u2022Maintain accurate study logs
\n\u2022Report on daily\/weekly activities
\n\u2022Assist with SOP development<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Liaise with all Internal Customers and External Customers
\n\u2022Participate in training, meetings and other activities<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures
\n\u2022Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve study goals<\/p>\n
\nQualification\/Professional Membership:
\n\u2022Bachelor\u2019s degree from four-year college or university
\n\u2022Valid GCP certificate (Advantageous)<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Minimum of 1-3 years\u2019 experience in similar role
\n\u2022Experience in HIV counselling and testing
\n\u2022Knowledge of participant recruitment and retention strategies
\n\u2022Experience in community education<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Valid Drivers Licence
\n\u2022Detail orientated , diligent , honest and hardworking
\n\u2022Ability to work under pressure
\n\u2022Good report writing skills
\n\u2022Good interpersonal skills
