\nIn this role, you will analyse our current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training.<\/p>\n

Job Title: IT Manager – Cape Town<\/strong> <\/p>\n High Level Objectives:<\/strong> \u2022 To manage the relationships with, and between external suppliers, ensuring contracts and service levels are negotiated in line with strategic aims and financial constraints and ongoing service delivery is in-line with agreed contracts.<\/p>\n \u2022 Liaising regularly with executives and senior management and analyse the business requirements of all entities and departments to determine their technology needs and implement suitable software\/systems where needed, supporting the business strategy which are compliant with all IT systems.<\/p>\n \u2022 Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and system.<\/p>\n \u2022 To create and maintain an Information Technology & Management strategy in line with the Group\u2019s strategy.<\/p>\n Required Education:<\/strong> Required job skills:<\/strong> Required job experience;<\/strong> Desirable:<\/strong> Attributes:<\/strong> Please ensure that you have the minimum job requirements, before applying.

\n\u2022 Drive strategy and manage resources (both internal and 3rdparty) to ensure the best solutions that are high quality, cost effective, sustainable and market leading.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 NDip IT, BTech IT, BSc IT or similar technical qualification is essential in order to successfully apply for this position.
\n\u2022 Professional IT Certifications in Infrastructure (such as A+, N+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) is an advantage.
\n\u2022 Azure solutions architect will be an advantage.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
\n\u2022Project & Time Management skills.
\n\u2022Communication, Interpersonal & Leadership skills.<\/p>\n
\nEssential:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Must have 5+ years Senior IT Management experience.
\n\u2022 3-5 Years Management of a team (delegation and supervision).
\n\u2022 3-5 Years Project Management.
\n\u2022 3-5 Years Infrastructure.
\n\u2022 Experience in business with multiple small to medium locations (130 + contracts).
\n\u2022 Experience in assisting businesses to move to a cloud based solution.
\n\u2022 Experience in assisting businesses to implement Sharepoint.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 MS SQL Server 2008-2016 MCDBA.
\n\u2022 PABX (Mitel).
\n\u2022 Mimecast.
\n\u2022 Accpac (Sage 300).<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Ability to manage and delegate tasks effectively.
\n\u2022Good understanding of operations and service orientated.
