Just Grace Education Programme focuses on providing learners from Langa High Schools with support from grade 9 to 12 to help them into suitable FET institutions or employment.\u00a0Just Grace is a non-profit organisation that runs various community empowerment initiatives in Langa Township, Cape Town.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Business Development Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Langa Township, Cape Town.<br \/>\n<strong>Remuneration:<\/strong> R15\u00a0000 \u2013 R18\u00a0000 per month. The candidate can work remotely for approximately 60% of the week.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this position is to develop and manage Just Grace\u2019s fundraising and sustainability strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and implement a results-oriented and coordinated strategy to mobilise significant additional resources from donors, foundations, philanthropists and corporates.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the development of highly competitive resource mobilisation proposals and concept notes and ensure achievement of positive results.<\/li>\n<li>Develop innovative revenue creation strategies, including non-traditional revenue streams to generate income.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain an effective project tracking system and ensure all donor funding requirements are met.<\/li>\n<li>Manage bid strategies, from pre-solicitation\/pre-proposal, proposal preparation, submissions and follow up to onboarding of new grants or revenue streams.<\/li>\n<li>Write and submit grant applications.<\/li>\n<li>Write and submit donor feedback reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A passion for community development and the NGO sector.<\/li>\n<li>Inquisitive and self-motivated learner.<\/li>\n<li>Proactive and performance orientated.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant Bachelor\u2019s, Honours or Master\u2019s degree in a relevant field.<\/li>\n<li>Where the candidate has extensive demonstratable experience and excellent references as well as meets all of the other requirements, the requirement for a degree may be waived.<\/li>\n<li>Must be analytically minded and have excellent English writing skills, including the ability to compile insightful and user-friendly reports.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in fundraising and grant writing.<\/li>\n<li>Must be highly organised, deadline driven and efficient with planning skills and a proactive and positive approach.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well in a diverse team environment, and to coordinate multiple inputs to tight deadlines, with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the NGO sector and knowledge of donor processes\/requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of SETAs and B-BBEE an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Strong MS Office skills a must, with working knowledge SharePoint an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in an isiXhosa is advantageous but not required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Kindly note that applications which do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Email your CV and a cover letter to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@justgrace.co.za\">careers@justgrace.co.za<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0with the subject line \u201cBusiness Development Manager\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Monday, 31 August, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just Grace is a nonprofit organisation based in Langa Township that specialises in empowering communities through sustainable initiatives.
