We use the reports as an important source of information to fight corruption and hold leaders accountable for their actions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Digital Media Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Braamfontein, Johannesburg.<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong> Head of communications<br \/>\n<strong>Remuneration:<\/strong> This is a full-time position with salary commensurate with experience.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this position will be to work under the supervision of the fundraising, marketing and communications manager.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Moderation and management of social media platforms:<br \/>\nModerate discussions, postings and activity on online platforms in accordance with Corruption Watch\u2019s user-generated content moderation policy<\/li>\n<li>Assume responsibility for creating daily social media content<br \/>\nMonitoring progress:<\/li>\n<li>\u200bMonitor and measure the success of social media engagement<br \/>\nProvide monthly reports on quantitative and qualitative data<br \/>\nIdentify and report on social media trends<br \/>\nAnalyse, review and report on the effectiveness of the site and new initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Document all learning experiences and provide a monthly report<br \/>\nContent development and activities:<\/li>\n<li>\u200bProduce written content that can be used to initiate discussion on the platforms<\/li>\n<li>Generate infographics and other multi-media to be used on the site<\/li>\n<li>Organise and manage online events and activities that take place on different platforms<\/li>\n<li>Managing Social Media Channels:<br \/>\nWebsite and social media content development<br \/>\n\u200b<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the weekly \/ daily planning of content<\/li>\n<li>Support the production of website and social media content<\/li>\n<li>Generate infographics and other multi-media as appropriate for social media channels<\/li>\n<li>Identify useful publications or resources that will enhance CW web and social media content<\/li>\n<li>Provide monthly reports on Facebook and Twitter<\/li>\n<li>Explore new methods and channels for profiling organisation<\/li>\n<li>Digital and online marketing\u200b:<br \/>\nKeep on top of digital marketing, SEO and content marketing trends<\/li>\n<li>Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO\/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Manage online advertising on Facebook and Google<\/li>\n<li>Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)<\/li>\n<li>Create and manage link building strategies, content marketing strategies and social media presence<\/li>\n<li>Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights<\/li>\n<li>Use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant sites<\/li>\n<li>Review new technologies and keep the organisation at the forefront of developments in digital marketing<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Google Webmaster Tools \/ Search Console<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma\/ degree in digital media marketing studies<\/li>\n<li>2 years\u2019 experience (Digital media and marketing)<\/li>\n<li>Digital design skills and aptitude<\/li>\n<li>Skills or aptitude for audio-visual content creation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants should send the following to: admin@corruptionwatch.org.za<\/p>\n<p>A letter motivating your application for the position;<br \/>\nA concise CV ( not longer than 3 pages);<br \/>\nThree (3) contactable references.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> Monday, 31 August, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Corruption Watch is a non-profit organisation launched in January 2012.
