\n\u2022Entrance channel depth assessment and design
\n\u2022Ship manoeuvring simulations studies to aid the design of navigation channels, aids to navigation and tug requirements and operational requirements
\n\u2022Environmental data analyses
\n\u2022Undertake far-field and near-field dilution and dispersion modelling studies
\n\u2022Assist in preparation of proposals for projects related to these fields
\n\u2022Compile reports on numerical modelling tasks<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Contributing to the identification of SHEQ risks and driving processes to achieve Zero Harm

\n\u2022Knowledge and experience in applying port and coastal modelling software packages (Required):
\n\u2014Delft3D (WAVE; FLOW; and SURFBEAT)
\n\u2014XBeach (including non-hydrostatic module)
\n\u2014Mike21 BW (knowledge of Mike21 MA would be beneficial)
\n\u2014Simflex Navigator
\n\u2022Knowledge and experience in modelling and analyses ship hydrodynamics, ship stability, dynamic mooring and downtime analyses
\n\u2022Proficient in programming with MATLAB \/ PYTHON
\n\u2022Solid mathematical background, also a good judgment on matters and assumptions within the field of modelling
\n\u2022Knowledge and experience in physical modelling of wave processes would be advantageous<\/p>\n
