It was decided a few years later, by its committed founder, that CTMSC should begin running independently. On the 1st February 2007, CTMSC was registered as an NPO.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For more information:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ctmsc.co.za\/about-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/www.ctmsc.co.za\/about-us\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Centre Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>South Africa<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will hold a degree\/diploma in Social Work or Social Sciences with extensive experience in Organizational Planning and Human Resource Management within the NGO sector.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Manage the day-to-day operational duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for planning, organization, and direction of the organization\u2019s operations and programs.<\/li>\n<li>Develops and implements consistent inventory and cost accounting policies, procedures, and operational reporting\/metrics.<\/li>\n<li>Oversees and reports on the organization\u2019s results for board of directors.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares accurate and timely analyses that capture and communicate fundraising results, variances, and performance trends.<\/li>\n<li>Provides leadership to and manages the efforts of Centre staff to ensure appropriate support of all departments.<\/li>\n<li>Supervises the development of operations-based financial modeling.<\/li>\n<li>Approves major systems implementations related to cost and inventory control.<\/li>\n<li>Retains a diverse, highly qualified staff and volunteers by providing career coaching, growth, and personal development for workers.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that services and funding relationships are robust enough to meet or exceed strategic goals and objectives.<\/li>\n<li>All public relations and media liaison.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen networking and collaboration between the organisation and other role players, Service Providers and the community.<\/li>\n<li>Governance and Organisational Development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Qualifications Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Social Worker or degree\/diploma in a related Social Science field.<\/li>\n<li>Proof of registration with a related professional council<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in an NGO in a leadership\/management role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organisational, Human resource and Financial Management skills essential.<\/li>\n<li>Team leadership and strategic planning ability.<\/li>\n<li>Experience and success in Fundraising.<\/li>\n<li>Comprehensive knowledge and work experience in the field of child protection\/child and youth alternative care highly recommended.<\/li>\n<li>Sound communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills essential.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent administrative and report writing skills.<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy essential.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English and Afrikaans.<\/li>\n<li>Unendorced Code 08 Driver\u2019s License and own vehicle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please forward your CV with a motivation letter highlighting your suitability to the role and contact details of three work related referees to <\/strong><a href=\"mailto:rudayba@maraisbutton.co.za\"><strong>rudayba@maraisbutton.co.za<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Contact will only be made with shortlisted candidates.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>27th September 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Cape Town Multi Service Centre (CTMSC) began in 2004 as a project providing services to street children through an organisation called Cape Town City Mission.
