ILRIG provides popular educational resources and information for workers\u2019 organisations, workers\u2019 struggles and social movements in South Africa based on research on political economy, community struggles, feminism and international politics.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Administrator\/HR officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Cape Town<\/p>\n<p>ILRIG seeks to generate alternative perspectives to that of neo-liberal capitalism, <strong>tasks include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Answering and managing switchboard<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with all service providers<\/li>\n<li>Deal with staff issues relating to SARS, Medical Aid and Provident Fund<\/li>\n<li>Prepare requisitions and invoices (checking all invoices to be paid)<\/li>\n<li>Follow up on payments to service providers and requesting invoices.<\/li>\n<li>Filing financial documents<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with financial reporting<\/li>\n<li>Undertake travel bookings, securing venues and accommodation, booking catering and providing general logistic support for all Board meetings, staff meetings and evaluations, workshops and annual events.<\/li>\n<li>All filing (staff information, minutes of meetings, registers of meetings and workshops, financial documents, service level agreements)<\/li>\n<li>Keep and update all staff files<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Human Resource\/Administration qualification or any relevant qualification<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, listening and telephone etiquette<\/li>\n<li>Ability to pay continual attention to detail and accuracy in composing, typing and proofing materials.<\/li>\n<li>Good MS Office skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organisational and administration skills<\/li>\n<li>Candidates who are committed to and have been involved in struggles for social justice,<\/li>\n<li>Can work collaboratively in a democratic setting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Telephone 021 4476375 and send application letters, letters of motivation, CVs and 3 contactable work-related references to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:ilrigsa@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ilrigsa@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Monday, 28 September, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The International Labour Research and Information Group (ILRIG) is an independent NGO based in Cape Town and in Johannesburg.
