Have your own car, and know your way around the KZN Area.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for young vibrant people, that love meeting new people, want to making a difference and are target driven.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Business Development Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa<br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> # KZNBDev2020<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specification<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Business Development Officer contributes to the organisational goals by generating high quality leads for Business Insurance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Objectives\/Outputs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022To effectively build and maintain relationships with prospects.<br \/>\n\u2022To generate high quality leads from prospective clients on a daily basis.<br \/>\n\u2022To assess marketing opportunities to contribute to the growth of Business Insurance.<br \/>\n\u2022To gather information on prospects requirements for product enhancement.<br \/>\n\u2022To effectively build and manage relationships with management and the call centre.<br \/>\n\u2022To effectively promote and advocate the brand to prospective clients in order to convert new leads to sales.<br \/>\n\u2022Understanding customer needs and consistently meeting customer expectations.<br \/>\n\u2022To ensure up-to-date industry and market knowledge, as well as internal products, processes etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Matric \/ Grade 12<\/li>\n<li>2 &#8211; 3 years marketing or face to face sales experience preferably in commercial insurance.<\/li>\n<li>Own vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Valid Drivers Licence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>*SAQA Accredited Equivalent<\/strong> -It is the onus of the applicant to provide TIH and its subsidiaries with certified evidence that their qualification(s) meet the equivalent NQF level required for this role at time of application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>#Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) competency requirements:<\/strong> FAIS recognized qualifications \/ Regulatory Examinations \/ Class of Business Certification and \/ or CPD according to your DOFA (where applicable) -As a registered Financial Service Provider, we are mandated to ensure that all our representatives are and remain fit and proper at all times.
