Role Summary\/Purpose<\/h4>\n

Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP)<\/strong>
\nThe Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP) prepares high potential individuals with a track record of professional success for GE leadership roles in marketing and sales. The two-year global program offers opportunities for leaders to drive growth in a business, receive world-class commercial and leadership training, interact with and influence senior decision-makers and be part of a close-knit global<\/p>\n

Essential Responsibilities<\/h4>\n

Program Summary
\nThe ECLP program consists of three, eight-month rotational assignments within the sales and marketing functions of a GE business. Every four months, self-assessment and manager evaluations help ECLPs reflect on their accomplishments, development needs and career interests. Typical assignments can include delivering a project or business objective around market entry strategy, sales force effectiveness, target potentialization, market segmentation, market communications, account management, pricing controllership, risk finance, and direct sales. Although each participant’s rotations are different over the two years, the standard curriculum and power of the ECLP network drives consistency across experiences. Additionally, program participants strengthen their commercial, business, and leadership skills by completing an intensive curriculum consisting of six weeks of classroom training and in-residence global symposiums focused on building competencies in marketing, sales and leadership development.<\/p>\n

\nThe program provides participants with opportunities to take a significant role in the leadership, management, and advancement of the program. Members also have the unique opportunity to work with colleagues across businesses and from around the globe to lead change initiatives in a wide variety of areas.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications\/Requirements<\/h4>\n

o All candidates must have unrestricted work authorization in the region into which they apply. For the South Africa role this means they must hold SA citizenship
\no Masters Degree: MBA, MPA, MPP or appropriate master\u2019s degree
\no 5-7 years with commercial work experience gained in sales, marketing, procurement, product management, account management, public affairs, government relations
\no Excellent communication and analytical skills
\no experience in “Selling TO” Governments or “Buying AS” Government and\/or candidates with work experience in policy, military, government contractors, EPCs, procurement, etc.
\no Fluency in English
\no Geographic mobility<\/p>\n
