Retail Regional Manager \u2013 Retail\/Furniture Industry

\nA large progressive and successful corporate holding company in the retail\/furniture industry is looking to employ an individual who can manage and optimize all retail business operations within the region to maximize top line sales and profitability.<\/p>\n
The successful candidate must have
\n\u2022 Matric qualification
\n\u2022 Relevant Degree \/ Diploma with a NQF level 6
\n\u2022 2-3 Years retail experience
\n\u2022 SAP Management Reporting
\n\u2022 MS Office Proficiency
\n\u2022 Experience in a micro\/macro environment<\/p>\n
Your busy and challenging day will include but not limited to:
\n\u2022 To manage and optimise all retail business operations within a region to maximise top line sales and profitability
\n\u2022 Ensure regional sales objectives are met
\n\u2022 Maximise product related incomes (club, margin, delivery, extended guarantees (EGT), comprehensive insurance)
\n\u2022 Monitor external environment for potential opportunities and threats
\n\u2022 Ensure effective implementation of merchandising and marketing plans
\n\u2022 Monitor the effective implementation of required visual merchandising standards
\n\u2022 Attraction and retention of customer base
\n\u2022 Effectively managing all purchasing transactions
\n\u2022 Manage and control all stock
\n\u2022 Manage and secure the regions retail assets
\n\u2022 Analyze and assess profitability and formulate improvement plans
\n\u2022 Implement retail policies, procedures and administration standards
\n\u2022 Team Human Resource Management
\n\u2022 Enable customer centricity
\n\u2022 International business trends
\n\u2022 Management of report design
\n\u2022 Merchandise trend tracking and analysis
\n\u2022 Practical Management]
\n\u2022 Project Management
\n\u2022 Achieve regional sales objectives
\n\u2022 Liaise and communicate with the chain merchandise and logistic department regarding quality, ranges, trends and deliveries etc.
\n\u2022 Monitor and control the condition of company assets
\n\u2022 Identify security risk issues and taking corrective action
\n\u2022 Coach and assist store managers to formulate appropriate business performance improvement plans to rectify any deviations
\n\u2022 Implement and ensure that all stores adhere to company policies, procedures and directives<\/p>\n
