The South African Weather Service (SAWS) is a provider of useful and innovative weather, climate, and related products and services. In line with the organisation\u2019s philosophy and ethos, SAWS has generated and implemented a Quality Management System commensurate with the highest quality standards to ensure that both its products and services are fit for use by its customers, and in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. The Management and staff of SAWS are committed to the Vision, Mission and Values of the organisation and will actively contribute to, and support all initiatives aimed at achieving its goals and objectives.<\/p>\n

\nUtilising cutting edge technology to convert data into meaningful products and services for risk mitigation;
\nAdvancing the science of meteorology, research and relevant applications;
\nEnhancing fiscal discipline and optimal resource mobilisation to ensure sustainability;
\nin order to inform decision making and contribute to the safeguarding of life and property
