{"id":58290,"date":"2020-10-19T09:58:10","date_gmt":"2020-10-19T07:58:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=58290"},"modified":"2020-10-19T23:56:18","modified_gmt":"2020-10-19T21:56:18","slug":"think-recent-available-job-opportunity-apply-now-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/think-recent-available-job-opportunity-apply-now-4.html","title":{"rendered":"THINK Recent Available Job Opportunity &#8211; Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THINK is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by TB and HIV\/AIDS.\u00a0\u00a0As a health delivery and research organisation engaging\u00a0with the local community, government and international funders, THINK\u00a0has provided care to over 100,000 people in KwaZulu-Natal Province\u00a0and carried out cutting-edge clinical research that has already contributed to changing\u00a0TB Treatment\u00a0Guidelines internationally and locally.<\/p>\n<p>THINK is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the role of a Data Officer who will be responsible to maintain the quality and integrity of the trial data under the supervision of the study data manager\/ quality assurance officer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Data Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>eThekwini<br \/>\n<strong>Opportunity Type<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>\u00a0Fixed term Contract<br \/>\n<strong>Start Date:\u00a0<\/strong>01 November 2020<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Validating clinical trial data to ensure consistency, integrity and accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with other study staff to respond to data queries in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Entering of trial data within timelines<\/li>\n<li>Managing the quality control of study documentation for completeness and correctness<\/li>\n<li>Drawing up of Source documents and other related trial documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Tracing and filing of study results and reports<\/li>\n<li>Quality control of all data prior to data entry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Driver\u2019s License<\/li>\n<li>Bachelors degree preferably in relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Experience as a Data Officer or Research Assistant in the clinical trials field for at least 2 years<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current GCP Certificate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates. <strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
