Specification<\/strong>
\nThe Senior Pensions Manager works closely with the engagement partner on all matters concerning the audit.
\nThe Senior Pensions Manager is responsible to the engagement partner for ensuring the work is planned, executed and reviewed in accordance with the Firm\u2019s policies and procedures and for keeping the engagement partner informed of matters or issues which might impact on the audit opinion to be given on a set of financial statements.<\/p>\n

Reporting to the Audit Partner the Senior Pensions Manager will inter alia be responsible for:
\n\u2022Assisting the engagement partner with the commercial management and business development.
\n\u2022Reviewing technical developments for their effect on the engagement and keeping the engagement partner informed of problems and opportunities.
\n\u2022Accurate and Timeous planning of audits.
\n\u2022Management and the Execution of audits.
\n\u2022Managing staff movements on and off the job and timeously communicate to all relevant parties.
\n\u2022Manage and control staff allocations on audit project.
\n\u2022Ensure completion and finalisation of audits
\n\u2022Building of effective relationships with clients and staff.
\n\u2022Ensure Exceptional Client Service.
\n\u2022Business Development<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/strong>
\nQualifications
\n\u2022CA(SA)
\n\u20225-6 Years\u2019 post articles experience in Pension Funds (Including 2 years\u2019 managerial experience)<\/p>\n

Experience<\/strong>
\n\u2022Retirement funds experience will be an advantage<\/p>\n

Competencies<\/strong>
\n\u2022A sound knowledge of and exposure to all accounting standards relating to Pension funds.
\n\u2022Ability to communicate effectively – Verbally and Written
\n\u2022Ability to relate to clients at executive level
\n\u2022Ability to apply sound professional judgment.
\n\u2022Demonstrate a commitment to self-development and growth through research and attending courses relevant to role.
\n\u2022Promote teamwork within the Pensions Teams
\n\u2022Strong planning, organising and control skills<\/p>\n
