BAP offers art facilitation training, mentorships and networking with many partners bringing creativity and healing to children and adults from vulnerable communities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Programme\u00a0Administrator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Report to:<\/strong> Programme\u00a0Manager.<br \/>\n<strong>Start Date:<\/strong> 11\u00a0January\u00a02021.<\/p>\n<p>Suitably qualified individuals with South African nationality or permit to work in South Africa are invited to apply.<br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Key\u00a0Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Office administration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Venue\u00a0organisation<\/li>\n<li>Recruitment of participants<\/li>\n<li>Support of trainers and coordinate training logistics<\/li>\n<li>Data\u00a0management\u00a0for monitoring and evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Shopping for programme activities, stock taking, ordering materials, recording and reconciling petty cash expenditures<\/li>\n<li>Cooperation with Operations\u00a0and Finance Coordinator<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the Programme Manager and Programme Coordinator<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to\u00a0teamwork\u00a0and team meetings<\/li>\n<li>Minute-taking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education level:\u00a0Matric or equivalent recognition of prior learning<\/li>\n<li>Experience:\u00a0A minimum of 5 years working at an equivalent\u202fadministrative\u202fjob\u202flevel, preferably in a development-related field<\/li>\n<li>Bilingual in English and another SA language<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to\u202fmultitask<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent intercultural skills\u00a0and good ability in one other South African language in addition to English (must have excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills in English)<\/li>\n<li>Proficient knowledge and demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office software,\u202finternet-based\u202fapplications and required social media sites<\/li>\n<li>The ability to work both as part of a team and independently, using\u202fown initiative<\/li>\n<li>Project\u202fadministration\u202fskills are advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Personal characteristics:\u00a0Self-disciplined, self-critical, reflects and adjust appropriately to lessons learned, believes that diversity is\u202fa strength, believes in the healing qualities of art, problem solving ability, creative, generous and committed to change;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Licenses:\u00a0Valid\u202fdriver\u2019s\u202flicense\u00a0and\u00a0police clearance certificate (or proof of application thereof)<\/li>\n<li>Physical abilities:\u00a0General good health and mobility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>BAP offers a salary commensurate with experience and will be discussed with the successful candidate.\u00a0To apply, submit a CV, motivational letter, salary expectation\u00a0and three contactable references \u00a0to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:application@butterflyartproject.org\">application@butterflyartproject.org<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>BAP reserves the right not to make an appointment if a suitable candidate cannot be found.
