{"id":59036,"date":"2020-11-11T15:45:21","date_gmt":"2020-11-11T13:45:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=59036"},"modified":"2020-11-12T00:01:19","modified_gmt":"2020-11-11T22:01:19","slug":"the-haven-night-shelter-welfare-organisation-job-opening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/the-haven-night-shelter-welfare-organisation-job-opening.html","title":{"rendered":"The Haven Night Shelter Welfare Organisation Job Opening"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Haven Night Shelter Organisation\u2019s method is to offer social work services, rehabilitation opportunities, family reunification services, physical care and support to adult people living on the streets who are committed to reintegration.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a02\u00a0Hosts <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Western Cape<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong>\u00a0The respective Shelter Manager.<br \/>\n<strong>Remuneration:<\/strong>\u00a0R6 000.00 per month<br \/>\n<strong>Employment type:<\/strong>\u00a0Permanent<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Hosts will be responsible for the initial intake of clients including their safety and care.<\/li>\n<li>Supervising clients.<\/li>\n<li>Administrative duties.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining the cleanliness and housekeeping.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reside in the area or in surrounding areas,<\/li>\n<li>Code B drivers licence,<\/li>\n<li>Grade 10 Certificate,<\/li>\n<li>Be able to work shifts and alternate weekends,<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interact with clients from different cultures and religions,<\/li>\n<li>Manage conflict situations,<\/li>\n<li>Basic level of computer literacy &#8211; MS Office, MS Excel and Outlook,<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work as a team player,<\/li>\n<li>Be of sober habits,<\/li>\n<li>No criminal record,<\/li>\n<li>Be in good health,<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the NGO sector will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NB: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Haven Night Shelter Welfare Organisation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
