The position will be based at Philippi Village and the incumbent will be required to work across communities in Philippi Village and Gugulethu.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tertiary qualification in a Health related field<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years\u2019 experience in a similar role within a research environment &#8211; with at least 1 years\u2019 experience in co-ordination of studies, including field and data collection activities<\/li>\n<li>At least 1 years\u2019 experience in staff management<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy skills (Ms Office)<\/li>\n<li>Good communication (verbal and writing) skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities<\/li>\n<li>Detailed oriented<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and listening skills<\/li>\n<li>Inquisitive and non-judgmental attitude<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as well as independently<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain relations with internal and external stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Strong organisational and planning skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well under pressure and to maintain effectiveness during changing conditions<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to work on Saturdays when required<\/li>\n<li>Willing to work across communities in Philippi Village and Gugulethu<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Advantageous:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluency isiXhosa<\/li>\n<li>Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certificate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and supervise study activities in Philippi Village (PV)\/Gugulethu Research Office (GRO)<\/li>\n<li>Manage study resources and have a tracking system<\/li>\n<li>Write weekly reports and share with relevant staff and Principle Investigators (PI\/s)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all study activities are implemented as per protocol<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with relevant stakeholders and maintaining relations<\/li>\n<li>Quality control of logs, Informed Consent Foms (ICFs) data collection documents<\/li>\n<li>Assist with randomisation process<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that participants are followed up and receives relevant services (cohort)<\/li>\n<li>Assist in managing the regulatory binder<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that staff members have relevant Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Human Subject Protection (HSP) and signed on the delegation log<\/li>\n<li>Reports Serious Adverse Event (SAE) to the Principle Investigator (PI)<\/li>\n<li>Assist with staff training and identifying gaps<\/li>\n<li>Chair study meetings and join calls with study collaborator\/s (international and local)<\/li>\n<li>Values fit: Passion Innovation Progress Integrity Respect Excellence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Quote Job reference, submit CV, motivation letter with certified copy of highest qualification and details of three (3) current contactable referees to: Attention HR Manager <strong><a href=\"mailto:Jobs@hiv-research.org.za\">Jobs@hiv-research.org.za<\/a> <\/strong>by\u00a0 Job reference: #DTHF\/C030.
