Make your mark and gain exposure across the whole HR spectrum. This role will suite someone with a HR degree who has 5 or more years&#8217; experience in a not for profit organisation in a role of HR generalist.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate the recruitment, selection and hiring process which include but not limited to, advertising vacant positions, screening CVs, shortlisting and conducting interviews;<\/li>\n<li>Arrange orientation of new staff and exit process for terminated staff;<\/li>\n<li>Employee\/Personnel file record maintenance and updates;<\/li>\n<li>Provide assistance to Human Resource Manager in Industrial Relations matters as and when required;<\/li>\n<li>Provide counselling and guidance to staff on company policies and procedures;<\/li>\n<li>Timesheet management: Ensure all timesheets are submitted timeously by staff;<\/li>\n<li>Leave administration (receiving forms and process for payroll);<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance in all aspects of HR related functions and ensure relevant documentation is evident;<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to the Human Resources Manager in the education and guidance\u00a0of all staff\u00a0in the implementation of\u00a0all aspects of Performance Management System, and any other Human Resource functions and activities<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to HR Manager in facilitation of workshops and training on company policies and processes;<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with medical aid and provident fund administrators as and when required. To add new employees;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Payroll:\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate monthly payroll scheduled and ensure deadlines are met<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance in the coordination of payroll processes, including the adding of new employees and terminations.<\/li>\n<li>Administer employee benefits (e.g. retirement fund, medical aid);<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with statutory requirements on the payroll;<\/li>\n<li>Resolve payroll queries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>General administration and other duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all employee records up to date<\/li>\n<li>Induct of new employees<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all staff have completed HR packs<\/li>\n<li>Process all events with regards to injury on Duty Claims.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate processes such as audits, BEE submissions etc.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate of wellness activities for all IRD SA Offices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree or Diploma in Human resources, Industrial Psychology or related fields;<\/li>\n<li>Must have a minimum of 5 years solid HR Generalist experience<\/li>\n<li>Registration with the professional body (added advantage)<\/li>\n<li>Must have experience on MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Presentation Skills<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of HR policies and processes;<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge on the applicable legislation (LRA, BCEA etc.) and disciplinary processes and training.<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Excel<\/li>\n<li>Good\/ excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with tight deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates are welcome to apply, please provide two (2) current, relevant employment references.
