{"id":59074,"date":"2020-11-12T15:42:47","date_gmt":"2020-11-12T13:42:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=59074"},"modified":"2020-11-12T22:33:49","modified_gmt":"2020-11-12T20:33:49","slug":"interactive-research-and-development-south-africa-ird-sa-npc-job-vacancy-13","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/interactive-research-and-development-south-africa-ird-sa-npc-job-vacancy-13.html","title":{"rendered":"Interactive Research and Development South Africa (IRD SA NPC) Job Vacancy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Interactive Research and Development South Africa (IRD SA NPC) is a South African Section 21 not-for-profit entity and an affiliate of Interactive Research and Development Global (IRD Global), and has fully operational offices in Johannesburg, Pretoria (Gauteng) and in Durban (KwaZulu-Natal).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Social Auxiliary Workers<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>City of Johannesburg x 15,<br \/>\nTshwane x 5<br \/>\nCape Wine lands x 8<br \/>\n<strong>Employment type:<\/strong> Fixed term contract<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting<\/strong> to the <strong>Provincial Managers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support and assistance to the counselling team<\/li>\n<li>Link tuberculosis (susceptible and resistant) patients to treatment and care<\/li>\n<li>Provide adherence support to persons infected with TB (Retaining patients to care and prevent treatment interruption)<\/li>\n<li>Provide monthly reports to line manager<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with relevant programme staff as need be to support patients<\/li>\n<li>Assist with social support interventions<\/li>\n<li>Document service provided, time sheets and updating records<\/li>\n<li>Participate in team meetings, reviews and quality improvement strategies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Appropriate qualification and proof of latest registration<\/li>\n<li>Minimum one-year experience working in a similar position, or within the mental health programme will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in at least two of the official languages of Gauteng and Western Cape<\/li>\n<li>Written and spoken communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Working conditions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Willingness and availability to travel within district<\/li>\n<li>On occasion, to work long and\/or irregular \/or after hours\/ holidays and weekends if needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates are welcome to apply, please provide two (2) current, relevant employment references.
