Project Overview <\/strong><\/p>\n

Pact is recruiting for a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Manager for a one-year project based in Pretoria, South Africa – New Partnership Initiative (NPI) \u2013 Global Health, COVID-19 program, which will support interventions that will build upon and expand USAID\u2019s efforts to leverage the roles of communities to strengthen and adapt existing community health platforms to support national policies and implementation plans for COVID-19 preparedness and response (non-pharmaceutical interventions) and continuity of existing primary healthcare services based on national guidelines and needs\/priorities to create lasting structures for future response.<\/p>\n

Position Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n

The MEL Manager provides strategic guidance, vision, and management for successful monitoring and evaluation of the program. This individual also supervises MERL staff and ensures the strategic and functional integration of all MERL activities as well as active collaboration with sub-awardees and USAID. The Manager oversees all MEL activities, provides technical direction and support, measure progress toward program objectives,\u00a0and generate data for decision-making in the COVID-19 response effort, and ensures the program aligns with Pact\u2019s quality standards for MERL in close coordination with Pact\u2019s Results and Measurement (R&M) Team. This position is contingent upon award.<\/em><\/p>\n
