{"id":59206,"date":"2020-11-17T13:35:40","date_gmt":"2020-11-17T11:35:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=59206"},"modified":"2020-11-18T02:46:45","modified_gmt":"2020-11-18T00:46:45","slug":"association-for-the-physically-challenged-current-job-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/association-for-the-physically-challenged-current-job-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Association For the Physically Challenged Current Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Association For the Physically Challenged, provides holistic and fundamental services to physically challenged adults and children at no charge, throughout the Province of KwaZulu-Natal.<\/p>\n<p>The Association is a well established registered provincial non-profit organisation providing a range of services to\u00a0persons with physical disabilities.\u00a0The operations of the branch include a residential facility, craft training workshop and several outreach programmes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Bookkeeper\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Provincial Headquarters in Sherwood, Durban<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Processing of accounting procedures for all branches<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of monthly income and expenditure statements as well as Balance Sheets for all branches<\/li>\n<li>Payment of salaries and completion of relevant statutory returns including all monthly\/annual SARS requirements<\/li>\n<li>EFT payments for branch accounts<\/li>\n<li>Account queries<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation of Department of Social Development subsidies as well as other funded programmes<\/li>\n<li>Completion of financial requirements for Department of Social Development funding and evaluation documentation<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with SARS and banking institutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proof of tertiary education in bookkeeping<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of eight years bookkeeping \u00a0experience in a financial management post<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills at all levels<\/li>\n<li>Excellent filing and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Code 08 drivers license and own reliable vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Traceable recent references<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Only persons who meet the above criteria with \u00a0a passion to serve should submit CVs to the Provincial Director, P O Box 50018, Musgrave Road, 4062, or e-mail to<strong> <a href=\"mailto:lesapc@iafrica.com\">lesapc@iafrica.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application\u00a0<\/strong><b>Deadline:\u00a0<\/b>Thursday, 19 November, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Association For the Physically Challenged, provides holistic and fundamental services to physically challenged adults and children at no charge, throughout the Province of KwaZulu-Natal.
