{"id":59207,"date":"2020-11-17T09:35:43","date_gmt":"2020-11-17T07:35:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=59207"},"modified":"2020-11-18T02:51:30","modified_gmt":"2020-11-18T00:51:30","slug":"jet-education-services-jet-latest-job-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/jet-education-services-jet-latest-job-vacancy.html","title":{"rendered":"JET Education Services (JET) Latest Job Vacancy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JET Education Services (JET) is an independent, nonprofit organisation that works with government, the private sector, international\u00a0development agencies and\u00a0education institutions to improve the quality of education and\u00a0the relationship between education, skills\u00a0development and\u00a0the world\u00a0of work.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Specialist Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Johannesburg<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Permanent employment contract will be offered subject to a three month probation period.<\/p>\n<p>The Specialist Manager: M&amp;E will work under the guidance of the Executive Manager: M&amp;E and alongside the current Specialist Manager: M&amp;E to manage M&amp;E projects which include providing internal support for JET projects\/programmes and external support to clients (evaluations, development of a theory of change and M&amp;E frameworks and other M&amp;E support services).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Postgraduate qualification (Masters and qualification in M&amp;E preferred. Other relevant disciplines that would be considered include Research, Psychology, Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, Education)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 5-8 years in a similar environment, with at least 3 years of management experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conceptualisation of M&amp;E assignments<\/li>\n<li>Theory of Change\/M&amp;E framework development<\/li>\n<li>Qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis<\/li>\n<li>Report writing, data visualisation, presentation<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and on multiple projects at one time<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Good verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Client liaison<\/li>\n<li>Project management<\/li>\n<li>Proven skills in organisation, including time management.<\/li>\n<li>Financial management, team and people management.<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving ability, conflict resolution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deadline driven<\/li>\n<li>Results-oriented<\/li>\n<li>Ethical, diligent, honest and professional<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work confidently and productively on own initiative and manage a diverse and demanding workload to meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to work overtime as and when project demands require it, within reason<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A valid driver\u2019s license and ability to drive a manual motor vehicle are required.<br \/>\nAbility to communicate in other South Africa languages would be an advantage.<\/p>\n<p>Applications must be made\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScKqXSKL-X7dzCIEr8UpHym6RmqLrWr4zzqvKG5RdOiO7lWNw\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">online here<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>no later than 22 November 2020, 17h00.<\/p>\n<p>Late applications will not be considered.
