{"id":59367,"date":"2020-11-25T09:00:06","date_gmt":"2020-11-25T07:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=59367"},"modified":"2020-11-25T21:34:42","modified_gmt":"2020-11-25T19:34:42","slug":"think-recent-available-job-opportunity-apply-now-12","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/think-recent-available-job-opportunity-apply-now-12.html","title":{"rendered":"THINK\u00a0Recent Available Job Opportunity &#8211; Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THINK\u00a0is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by TB and HIV\/AIDS.\u00a0As a health delivery and research organisation engaging\u00a0with the local community, government and international funders, THINK\u00a0has provided care to over 100,000 people in KwaZulu-Natal Province\u00a0and carried out cutting-edge clinical research that has already contributed to changing\u00a0TB Treatment\u00a0Guidelines internationally and locally.<\/p>\n<p>THINK is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Monitoring and Evaluation Manager for\u00a0a\u00a0USAID-funded\u00a0project aimed to\u00a0strengthen the health care delivery platform for\u00a0TB\u00a0in\u00a0the provinces of<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: <\/strong><strong>Monitoring and Evaluation Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Under the direction of the M&amp;E Advisor, s\/he will ensure the completion of monitoring and evaluation activities across project components and will supervise coordination of District M&amp;E teams.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the M&amp;E Advisor in the development and implementation of processes and methodologies to ensure consistent data collection and management in keeping with the MEL plan and other M&amp;E related documents.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee data collection and analysis to assess the impact of the project activities on both DS and DR-TB service delivery platform in districts of responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of M&amp;E reports and presentations to USAID and other key stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Track and analyse project indicators and capture best practices and lessons learned to incorporate into project activities<\/li>\n<li>Provide on-going training and mentoring on their responsibilities for monitoring and evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Present on-going findings to project staff to ensure on-going learning<\/li>\n<li>Oversee daily work-related monitoring, evaluation and reporting activities of the project<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An appropriate degree in Public Health, Social, Statistics, Information or in related\/relevant field.<\/li>\n<li>An additional qualification in M&amp;E is a minimum requirement<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated a minimum of three (3) years of professional experience of progressively increasing responsibility in the monitoring &amp; Evaluation of public health programs in South Africa, preferably Tuberculosis.<\/li>\n<li>At least five (3) years of experience of working in the areas of TB, DR-TB, HIV, and public health. Good knowledge of TB diagnosis and treatment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and with team members and partners at all levels<\/li>\n<li>Excellent English language skills and written and oral communication skills<\/li>\n<li>A valid Code B Driver\u2019s License and own transport<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates.
