Concordis is a UK registered peacebuilding charity with programmes in Central African Republic, Mauritania, Sudan and South Sudan, plus some new work in the pipeline.<\/p>\n

Job Title: Fundraising and Communications Intern<\/strong>
\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>From home, or in Concordis\u2019 London office once lockdown is over.
\nDuration:\u00a0<\/strong>6 months, minimum three days per week, flexible working hours available
\nRemuneration:<\/strong> Volunteer; there is no salary or stipend, but Concordis will reimburse reasonable expenses including a small daily lunch allowance.
\nTraining:<\/strong>Concordis will ensure interns receive a high level of relevant experience, including training from senior members of staff

\nReporting to:\u00a0<\/strong>Director of Operations primarily, and occasionally the CEO\/Director of Programmes<\/p>\n

You will develop your existing skills in communications and\/or fundraising, receiving coaching from senior staff as you put these into practice in the professional environment of a peacebuilding charity.
\nConcordis seeks to build relationships of trust and respect, considering this the key to successful intervention in peace processes.\u00a0 The work of all members of the Concordis team is required to conform to and advance such an approach.<\/p>\n

During your internship you will become a valued member of Concordis\u2019 close-knit team, in which we rely on each member to contribute their skills to our work.\u00a0 We\u2019re particularly looking for people to work on fundraising and communications.You will work with the Director of Operations to implement communications and fundraising plans for Concordis. This will involve working with the Director of Programmes and the programme teams both in the UK and in Africa.
