Working with children and teachers, our holistic education programmes focus on life-skills, wellness and the environment.\u00a0ECP aims to inspire a new generation of confident, conscious and responsible young leaders.\u00a0We have a small diverse team, who are passionate about what we do.<\/p>\n<p>We love yoga, healthy living and taking care of the earth.\u00a0 We strive to build long relationships, to constantly learn and grow, and to work consciously and with integrity.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Schools Programme Manager and Senior Facilitator<\/strong><br \/>\n<b>Location:\u00a0<\/b>South Africa<\/p>\n<p><strong>The role will include the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Area Relationship Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and organise all school level Programmes within Lavender Hill partner schools, providing management and leadership to the Lavender Hill team<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with school leadership teams, teachers, volunteers and partnering organisations<\/li>\n<li>Pro-actively manage communication between all stakeholders in the area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Organise Programmes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that all Lavender Hill Staff and Programmes are fully resourced<\/li>\n<li>Organise venues, catering, transport &amp; volunteers for Holiday Programmes, workshops, camps and ad hoc events<\/li>\n<li>Manage Programme budget together with the Operations Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Programme Delivery<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organising and delivering content for Teacher Training and Young Leader Programmes<\/li>\n<li>Building strong facilitator relationships with Programme participants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Monitoring, Reporting &amp; Administration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all required reporting, administration &amp; record keeping is undertaken by Lavender Hill team and is properly organised and filed<\/li>\n<li>Manage all resources and inventories for Lavender Hill Programmes<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all contracts, MOU\u2019s and consent forms with schools, teachers, learners, partners and volunteers are up to date, well organised and easily accessible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The ideal candidate will also have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent people skills and the ability to build personal and trusting relationships with a diverse range of people<\/li>\n<li>Impeccable admin skills<\/li>\n<li>Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Google Drive, Calendar management)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and spoken communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English <strong>and Afrikaans<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Own transport and a valid driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please put your \u2018Name &amp; Surname \u2013 Schools Programme Manager\u2019 in the subject line, and email the following to <strong><a href=\"mailto:vacancies@earthchildproject.org\">vacancies@earthchildproject.org<\/a>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your CV (max 2 pages) &#8211; including a photo of yourself and your date of birth<\/li>\n<li>Motivation letter (max 2 pages) &#8211; please share why joining the ECP team excites and inspires you and why you\u2019d be the best person for the job<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please consider your application unsuccessful if you do not hear from us within 2 weeks of sending your application.\u00a0All questions about the details of the position and compensation will be answered<\/p>\n<p><strong>AFTER<\/strong> we reach out to you to discuss your submission.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Friday, 11 December, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Started in 2007, Earthchild Project (ECP) operates in under-resourced schools in Cape Town.
