You will be part of the Senior Management team reporting to the COO, and also part of a multi-disciplinary team working with key partners and stakeholders both strategically and operationally.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Head of Programs<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>South Africa<\/p>\n<p><strong>The key areas of responsibility are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Goal, target-driven and proactive\u00a0project management with well written protocols for new programs or extensions to existing programs.<\/li>\n<li>Development of strategic plans based in funder, government and organizational requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ensure systems and processes are in place to deliver high quality care and prevention services.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening the service provision through development of staff and key personnel, for current and future projects, sound understanding and experience of working closely with the South African Department of Health services and structures.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in\u00a0 working with major international donors such as PEPFAR, USAID, DFID, the Global Fund, BMGF,\u00a0and others, and being able to write grant proposals, control budgets, and give accurate and relevant reporting as required by these entities.<\/li>\n<li>Strong relationship building and management of all internal and external relationships pertaining to success of this portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Experience with a strong emphasis on good governance and high ethical standards in all respects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The required qualifications and experience are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MBCHB or related Masters degree in Public Health with at least seven (7) years of experience in Public Health \/ Clinical work and, in particular,\u00a0technical program design and implementation.<\/li>\n<li>At least five (5) years of senior level staff management, and a proven record of strengthening team capacity and level of responsibility.<\/li>\n<li>Proven expertise in design and implementation of integrated HIV\/Sexual Reproductive Health clinical service delivery programs.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience of close relationships with international donors<\/li>\n<li>Research experience in Public Health Services preferably in HIV and Sexual Reproductive Health<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and ability with strong capacity for imparting relevant information to audiences, teams, communities, and all relevant parties within a range of cultures and backgrounds.<\/li>\n<li>Strong ability to garner trust among the project team and related stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you meet the required HIV Medical Education and Expertise, Managerial Skills and level of NPO experience, send CV with current or recent salary level\u00a0to Pat Stewart, Anchor Executive Recruitment, on <strong><a href=\"mailto:pat@anchorexec.co.za\">pat@anchorexec.co.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Wednesday, 30 December, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This well-established Health Services Non-Profit organization is looking to appoint the HEAD\u00a0 OF PROGRAMS, who will\u00a0 lead in the technical design and implementation of HIV\/AIDS, Sexual Reproductive Health and related&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1353,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
