{"id":60281,"date":"2021-01-07T13:55:58","date_gmt":"2021-01-07T11:55:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=60281"},"modified":"2021-01-07T13:55:58","modified_gmt":"2021-01-07T11:55:58","slug":"probono-org-recent-ongoing-recruitment-apply-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/probono-org-recent-ongoing-recruitment-apply-now.html","title":{"rendered":"ProBono.Org Recent Ongoing Recruitment &#8211; Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ProBono.Org is a dynamic NGO that works with the private legal profession to provide pro bono legal services to the poor and contributes to ensuring that the unmet access to justice needs of impoverished people living in South Africa are met.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Staff Attorney<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Report to:<\/strong> Regional Director<br \/>\n<strong>Duration:<\/strong> One year Contract<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essentially this position involves:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Co-ordinating projects and displaying strong project management skills.<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Undertaking strategic decision making and planning.<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Managing Legal Interns.<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Ensuring high quality services are offered to clients, and administrative support to pro bono Attorneys and Advocates.<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Building relationships with the private legal profession and other stakeholders to enhance the delivery of pro bono services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><strong>Requirements:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">LLB Degree<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Admitted Attorney with \u00b13 years relevant post admission experience<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">A demonstrable commitment to and interest in public interest law and social justice<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Good communication skills, both written and verbal<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point)<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Currently based in Cape Town<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">A valid driver\u2019s license and own realiable transport<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><strong>Key Skills and Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">The candidate must be well organised and have strong administrative skills.<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Advanced communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
