\nReporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the Procurement & Administration Manager will be responsible for overseeing procurement and administration functions for BOL operations as well as ensuring cost efficient use of resources and best practice procurement in accordance with BOL and PPADB regulations.
\nRequirements<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Develop and maintain a coordinated approach towards procurement and contract management seeking value for money
\n\u2022Develop strategies to manage and to continuously review the effectiveness of BOL\u2019s sourcing\/tendering strategies and policies and implementation of third-party contractual agreements
\n\u2022Ensure compliance with procurement procedures, and maximize the use of local suppliers
\n\u2022Ensures compliance with the relevant laws of Botswana (PPADB, EDD, CEE, Tax laws)
\n\u2022Establish and maintain (through the Procurement Specialist) a supplier\/contractor database and supply chain management system
\n\u2022Serve as Secretariat to the Management Tender Committee
\n\u2022Overall Cost Management \/ Reduction<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Coordinate the provision of general administration of services for BOL
\n\u2022Manage the provision of outsourced services, including leased office equipment, cleaning and gardening services.
\n\u2022Monitor and enforce Service Level Agreements with service providers.
\n\u2022Drive the general upkeep of BOL facilities and cleanliness of the premises.
\n\u2022Oversee maintenance of fittings and equipment ensure effective management and utilisation of BOL utilities.
\n\u2022Establish office records requirements and allocate office accommodation as per departmental requirements and available space.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Business Related Degree
\n\u2022Master\u2019s in Business Management or equivalent is an added advantage
\n\u2022Professional Membership of a recognised institute i.e. CIPS will be an added advantage<\/p>\n
\n\u202210+ years in the Supply and or procurement management function.
\n\u2022Extensive SAP knowledge
\n\u2022Computer literate to at least intermediate level (Windows, MS Word, and Excel),
\n\u2022Understanding of Supply Chain Management principles
\n\u2022Understanding of business support operations
\n\u2022Experience in managing teams of varying qualification levels<\/p>\n
