Job Title: Vice President Business Development<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022Develop strategies and objectives in support of the overall business development goals. Responsible for the business development process STRATEGIC BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PLANNING:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022Identify the market\/business opportunities, trends, setting ideas and project by researching industry related events, publications, daily BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND REVENUE GENERATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022Track, identify, develop and pursue opportunities in keeping relationship with areas of emphasis with new and current clients. NEGOTIATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022Develop negotiation strategies and execution of same. Requirements:<\/strong> The desired candidate must exhibit competencies in the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022Experience in building commercial relationships to help deliver improved service and innovation to the customer REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022Minimum 15 year\u2019s post-graduation experience with at least 10 years cognate experience in the oil and gas industry and related job position REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022A good university degree in Engineering or any other related field.

\n\u2022Initiate, facilitate, manage and build new and existing client and partner relationships.
\n\u2022Responsible for formulation, execution, monitoring of company\u2019s business, development, market penetration strategies and operating plans
\nfor enhancing business growth and operating efficiency.
\n\u2022Business intelligence
\n\u2022Working with the Business Development Group, develop and manage an up-to-date understanding of the macroeconomic environment over
\nthe agreed plan period, using the information to consider the implications for existing and new sectors
\n\u2022Develop an understanding of relevant sectors and how they are likely to respond to business proposals and bids.
\n\u2022Undertake key research to understand the business and project drivers of sectors, customers and potential opportunities.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Lead and support negotiations with clients, partners, and consultants.
\n\u2022Implement systems to track upcoming RFPs and maintain corporate new business tracker.
\n\u2022Manage the bid\/no-bid processes.
\n\u2022Serve as advisor on all bids on strategy, teaming, recruitment, writing, and pricing.
\n\u2022Manage strategic bids and full and open bids, and lead at times, coordinating proposal teams.
\n\u2022Write proposal sections (as needed); review draft proposals.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Support and provide input to new contracts and contract renewals\/extensions.
\n\u2022Secure agreements on commercial disputes through commercial negotiations with external parties.<\/p>\n
\nCOMPETENCE REQUIREMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n\u2022Existing network of contacts within the Nigerian oil and gas sector
\n\u2022Detailed knowledge of marketing and business development (strategic and tactical)
\n\u2022Recognize changing market forces that may impact upon own or customers\u2019 business and puts plans into action to make a positive
\ncontribution.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022MBA qualification and membership of recognized professional body is an advantage.<\/p>\n
