\n\u2022Give input to the formulation of the operational budget and monitor and track applicable spending.
\n\u2022Manage and monitor repayment obligations that projects has to TIA (Equity and royalties, investments and loans) and ensure accurate and timeous reporting<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Manage effective internal and\/or external Stakeholder relationships:
\n\u2022Deliver required service to the stakeholder on time and with quality
\n\u2022Respond timeous to queries of the stakeholder
\n\u2022Maintain professional engagements and continuously exceed expectations<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Provide input into the operational plan of the Platforms with regards to the your area of expertise.
\n\u2022Ensure timeous and accurate reporting as per requirements. E.g. Close out, progress, M&E etc.
\n\u2022Compile internal proposals with input from the Platform technical team & complete external project review forms
\n\u2022Ensure adherence to all legal compliance and business processes
\n\u2022Conduct a technical feasibility study
\n\u2022Conduct the project definition meeting
\n\u2022Define a consolidated project plan with deliverables as identified in the project definition meeting
\n\u2022Source approved equipment and consumables. Ensure that all equipment are commissioned properly by service provider prior to initial use
\n\u2022Manage the lab equipment, cleanliness and stock levels.
\n\u2022Facilitate the general housekeeping of the laboratory.
\n\u2022Perform trouble shooting of the instruments
\n\u2022Manage SLA’s and service received from providers.
\n\u2022Develop new products and processes at the Platform: Design Experiments, analyses results and compile SOP’s and test methods to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
\n\u2022Provide project management and leadership on assigned projects including project costing
\n\u2022Trouble shoot experimental problems and find solutions
\n\u2022Prepare technical reports, summaries and protocols of the reports *Write motivations supporting platform to be recognized within the industry norms
\n\u2022Close out reports submitted on time<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Ensure compliance with Legislation, e.g. PFMA and National Treasury Guidelines;
\n\u2022Ensure compliance to all relevant accounting Standards, Policies and Frameworks; and
\n\u2022Ensure Compliance with TIA Standard Operating Procedures<\/p>\n
\nQualifications and Experience:<\/strong>
\n\u2022BSC Honours: Microbiology\/Medical Microbiology\/Biochemistry\/Medical Biochemistry\/Molecular Biology.
\n\u2022Registered member of Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Medical Technologist
\n\u2022Advantage: MSC Degree
\n\u20224 years\u2019 experience in the relevant scientific field
\n\u2022Advantage: 6 years\u2019 experience in relevant scientific field management context<\/p>\n
