\n\u2022To install, troubleshoot and provide support for peripherals (external drives, modems, printers, scanners, PDA\u2019s and data enabled devices)
\n\u2022To install, configure and trouble shoot all Media24 in-house applications
\n\u2022The roll-out of Information Technology equipment and infrastructure in accordance with defined standards
\n\u2022Support for all aspects of workstation software and hardware technology
\n\u2022To assume ownership of assigned calls
\n\u2022Work to varied operating hours and perform standby duties
\n\u2022To communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders, including team members and management
\n\u2022To display a high sense of customer centricity and be team driven
\nCOMPETENCIES:<\/p>\n
\n\u20222 \u2013 3 Years experience within an IT Desktop Support environment
\n\u2022Familiarity with the ITIL framework and Service Desk Technologies
\n\u2022Familiarity with operating systems in general, with a special emphasis on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Applemac
\n\u2022Good working knowledge of software, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Exchange\/Outlook, Internet Explorer
\n\u2022Technical troubleshooting & diagnosis experience
\n\u2022Exposure to networks (LAN and WAN), peripherals (external drives, modems, printers, PDA\u2019s)
\n\u2022An understanding of the TCP\/IP networking protocol
\n\u2022Bilingual (Afrikaans and English) (a 3rd language will be an asset)
\n\u2022Code 08 driver\u2019s license
\n\u2022A willingness to work shifts & standby
\nQualification &Skills
\n\u2022A+ ,Microsoft (MCSE\/ MCDST) ,Apple Mac Certification or relevant IT diploma
