\nContract Type:<\/strong> Permanent<\/p>\n
\nTeaching physiotherapy to students and assisting in module development; The lecturing requirements for this domain of physiotherapy stretches over the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of the course in Physiotherapy Science I & II as well as Applied Physiotherapy I & II. More lecturing capacity in this domain is further reiterated by the need for clinical supervision and facilitation in the 3rd year and 4th year when the students will be on clinical rotations with patients with sports related injuries; Performing administrative duties; Work together with the colleagues of the physiotherapy programme and the department Coordinator to further the development of the physiotherapy Programme
\nRequirements
\nBSc in Physiotherapy (Hons) and a Masters in Physiotherapy Therapy; be registered with HPCNA or registerable as an Physiotherapist. Preferably 3 years\u2019 academic teaching and clinical teaching experience in a tertiary institution to under graduate students. Experience as lecturer with a special interest in sports physiotherapy and the relevant teaching experience and advanced clinical experience which is an essential component of physiotherapy practice. Clinical Supervision, Clinical Facilitation of students in Windhoek Central Hospital and Katutura Intermediate Hospital, outpatient clinics or any other settings (acute, non-acute or rural settings).<\/p>\n
