Great opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to take up the planner position at Stefanutti Stocks Western Cape. This is ideal for an individual that is keen to grow with the company and help it achieve its goal of achieving 3D,4D and 5D integration.
\nApplicants must have the appropriate experience, across a range of projects, preferably with a medium to large construction company. Candidates should be self-starting and highly motivated, with the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced team environment. The ideal candidate should be a detailed and organized team player with demonstrated delivery in high pressure situations. Previous work experience ideally as a site Engineer \/ QS or similar would be an advantage. Job Summary:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Construction experience (preferably on site) in a supervisory role.
\n\u2022BSC Construction Management \/ Civil Eng, BTech.
\n\u2022Working knowledge of the software to be used for the project.
\n\u2022At least 2 years\u2019 experience with CCS and\/or equal software for a planner.
\n\u2022Hands on experience on the procedures required to construct the most common scope items on the project.
\n\u2022Experience in formulating a logical chain of events or activities with relationships to produce a workable and achievable contractual deliverable.
\n\u2022Experience on how to demonstrate time entitlement within the parameters of various contract types.
\n\u2022Knowledge of the principles used to calculate and estimate the durations and interfaces of the activities required to produce the scope of work for the project.
\n\u2022Knowledge of the measurement of \u201cEarned Value\u201d and the development of quantifiable activities in a schedule.
\n\u2022Experience in MS Office applications such as Excel, Access, Word etc.
\n\u2022Construction Planner should have extensive knowledge and experience of JBCC contract interpretations with regards to \u201cExtension of Time Claims\u201d and the methodologies for analysing and demonstrating impacts in the schedule and how to demonstrate it in the approved software.<\/p>\n

Requirements: <\/strong>
\n\u2022Analyse the tender documents & compile a resource based tender programme.
\n\u2022Assist with the pricing of the Preliminaries based on the programme requirements.
\n\u2022Compile a method statement when required to do so.
\n\u2022Assist Contract Managers and site teams in compiling the detailed construction programmes and information required schedules.
\n\u2022Assist site team in regularly monitoring & updating the contract programmes.
\n\u2022Assist Contract Managers and site teams with compiling the cause and effect programme to justify the extension of time claims.<\/p>\n
