\nWe are looking for a qualified and experienced Financial Accountant to monitor all financial data and prepare accurate statements for our Company. The responsibilities of the Financial Accountant include budgeting, managing tax payments and performing internal audits. Conduct cost and revenue Analysis. Ultimately the Financial Accountant must ensure that our accounting transactions comply with the law and support our Company\u2019s investments.<\/p>\n
\n– Gather and monitor financial data (e.g sales revenue and liabilities)
\n– Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
\n– Forecast costs and revenues
\n– Conduct internal audits and General Ledger reconciliations
\n– Prepare budgets (for the entire company and per department)
\n– Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
\n– Conduct detailed risk analysis to assess potential investments
\n– Analyse financial trends
\n– Perform month end and year end close processes.
\n– Allocate, capture and control sundry expenses
\n– Update fixed asset register on a monthly basis
\n– Monthly control\/clearing accounts balances
\n– Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
\n– Cashbooks, journals, intercompany transactions, accruals, trial balances, reconciliations
\n– Prepare and submit statutory returns
\n– Prepare monthly audit schedules for balance sheet and selected expense accounts, also explain deviations
\n– Preparation on year-end account and coordination with external auditors
\n– Assist in the preparations of budgets
\n– Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, adhoc & yearend reporting as required by management
